Many people may show up to a sale, but not everyone can fit inside the house at the same time.
Entry may be controlled by a numbered sign-up sheet by the door or we may hand out street numbers. Street Numbers are numbered pieces of paper given out early on the first day to the people waiting in line. This is both a courtesy so that people may wait in their vehicles, out of weather, until the posted start time, and a way to prevent a stampede for the door when the sale begins.
Visitors are admitted to the house according to their numbered order. As some people leave, the next numbers are called and admitted. This way we can manage the flow of traffic inside the house.

We work on multiple sales at once, so on any given day we could be handling and pricing hundreds of items. There is no way we can memorize the prices to answer inquiries on Facebook or in messages. We wish we could. We realize that it would be helpful to customers who might have a long drive to a sale. Unfortunately, it is just not practical for our operation.

We do accept credit cards. There is a $20 minimum and a 3% service charge to offset the costs that we pay. We also accept cash and local checks up to $200.
